Creative lead, Midwest sports
Midwest Sports is one of the leading tennis retailers. I started as a production designer and worked my way up to creative lead, collaborating with other designers, developers, and company leadership. I worked on product photography, video production, email campaigns, social media, performance marketing, web design, you name it.
Website Refresh
Midwest Sports started in the early 2000s as a Cincinnati-based pro shop selling tennis equipment online. Over time, the company grew into one of the leading online tennis retailers. The website evolved over the years with a utilitarian approach and little design consistency. I worked closely with our CEO, Managers, and Developers to complete a lite refresh to the website’s design while impacting the current layout and features as little as possible.

Photo & Video Content Creation
To help bolster Midwest Sport’s marketing efforts, I used my photo and video skills to create a library of content we could use to differentiate ourselves from the competition.
To create video content quickly and efficiently, I created a set in the corner of our photography room, and worked with our product experts to develop a format that could easily be reproduced as new products came in.
I would also regularly take new equipment out to our local courts to shoot product photography in an environmental context.
